Psynon Records is a London based label which started as a party crew in 2007 when a group of DJs from different corners of the world met whilst partying at the underground psytrance parties in London. All sharing similar tastes in music and psychedelia, they decided to organise and promote their own parties with the music they wanted to hear and vibe they wanted to create.

Having run parties in London, Europe, and India with positive feedback and explosive dance-floors Psynon has taken the natural progression and developed into a label. Now in 2011 the boys at Psynon have decided to launch Psynon Records – a platform for underground artists to promote and release their music.

Our style is predominantly night time, pumping psytrance with high quality production. As well as throwing top notch events our aim is to promote and release new up-and-coming talent who share our same goal.

Above all we want to create an energetic dance floor vibe for people to enjoy themselves.

Primordial Distortions is the debut compilation from London based label, Psynon Records. The tracks included are a showcase of their artists and an introduction to the sounds of Psynon.

Compiled by label owners and DJ's Whichdoctor and Jibba, this release has handpicked tracks from label artists Harmonic Rebel (Andreas Markitanis), Nomad 25 (Haris Demetriou), Seti (Fedro Marques) and Isochronic (Harmonic Rebel and Nomad 25). The compilation consists of eight underground thumping psytrance tracks ranging from nighttime to early morning styles all with their own unique frequencies and basslines.

Tried and tested on dance floors in the UK and internationally with plenty of feedback, Primordial Distortions is the start of a new journey for Psynon Records and is guaranteed to blast!

Released under a Creative Commons licence for noncommercial usage. Psynon Records can also be found on Facebook and SoundCloud.
