Together we ended 2013 off on such a great note. The energy of the dance floor from wall to wall, front to back was unbelievable at RendeZvous. So let's do it again! This time we are bringing back SONIC SPECIES, who lit up the dance floor this past summer at Genesis. At the end of the festival, everyone asked, when will Sonic Species return? Well he's BACK!!! Let's show him what New York psytrance dance floor magic feels like. On this night we bring the PsYcHeGrOuND resident DJ's together for one crazy night filled with melodies.

After the global success of 'Unleash The Beat', and a succession of hit tracks over the last few years, Sonic Species is now established as one of the UK's top artists. Having performed repeatedly at many of the world's leading international events, the signature Sonic Species sound is now blasting loud in all four corners of the globe.

Sonic Species and Avalon have also joined forces to venture into the world of Progressive Trance with their new collaboration project - Future Frequency. With a debut album planned for release on Nano Records later in 2014, its shaping up to be another exciting and genre breaking year ahead.

Producer and DJ Luis Campos has launched a professional music career at the age of 14 in his childhood home Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he picked up his first set of Technics turntables. Soon he held residencies at some of the countries’ most revered clubs, including Sao Paulo’s Limelight and Victoria Pub among others. Luis’s talents were also showcased at Brazil’s most prestigious music festivals such as Skol Beats and the Love Parade attended by nearly 200,000 people.

In the late 90s, Luis was one of the three original members of Brazil’s first live electronic band, Influx. At the release of MTV’s first Amp album, Influx performed for over 30,000 people. Their track entitled “Crack” soon became an MTV favorite, gaining Influx popularity, which spread throughout Brazil, Europe, and North America. Since 2000 Luis has played at internationally acclaimed night clubs such as Cielo, Pacha, Exit, Twilo, Spirit, Mansion, SRB, Greenhouse, and Sullivan Room, voted one of the top 100 clubs in the World by DJ Mag, which he holds a residency of more than 5 years.

Luis Campos is the founder of Psycheground, which was one of the top underground parties in NYC for more than 11 years and had more then 150 events throughout its existency .
From 2008 to 2012, luis was part of the band Reality Engine band. A one of a kind dance music driven project that creates an articulate blend of original music production, synchronized videos, and holographic projections. The result was an acclaimed album named revenge of The nerds who reached the top of the charts on Billboard Luis started his new project called Fox which is mostly deep house and is schedule to be release soon. Also look out for his new party called Freakout which will have its debut on New Years Eve 2013. His house music sounds combined with techno and hypnotic sound plus his perfect mixing skills and the ability to control the crowd is his specialty. Look out for his sets on major clubs around the World.

Izzy is an up and coming New York City based DJ. He has performed at numerous events alongside with some of the most popular Psytrance artists around the globe such as Talamsca, Ephedrix, Rastaliens, Braincell, Logica and more. Izzy is known for his high-energy psychedelic DJ sets that gives you a taste of all kinds of sounds but still flows smoothly. Naturally, you will always find him giving everything that he has to his crowd. His hypnotic sets will keep your body and mind traveling at all times.

Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Carol Ferraz was raised to share music with others. Her passionate love affair with music started at a very young age and now she is taking it to the world. Carol's groundbreaking sets are comprised of a wide range of House and Techno beats influenced by the best of the best all the way from Brazil to New York and beyond. Her talents have brought Carol invitations to appear at some of the World’s most celebrated clubs including Pacha NYC, Cielo Club, Club Love, Greenhouse, Rebel, Public Assembly, The Electric Warehouse, Fat Black Pussy Cat, Living Room among others as well as events taking in New Jersey, Massachusetts, and the Winter Music Conference in Florida. In addition to her vast array of guest appearances she is a resident DJ at both Positive Pressure events held at The National Underground NYC and the award-winning Club Sullivan Room in NYC, further enhancing her ability to develop fresh sets leaving her crowd in love on the dance floor.

Carol Ferraz continually evolves as an artist by refusing to set limits to her own creativity, always willing to break boundaries and take her music to the next level whether performing or producing in the studio. Her desire to share her love of music with a live audience continues to be her biggest inspiration, which has given her more and more opportunities to showcase both her artistic and technical talents throughout that scene, an inspiration that she is carrying into her studio as she works on her latest productions.
