Jacundá

The Jacundá is a circle dance of indigenous origin, popular in the Amazon.
The dance is performed in a circle, men and women alternately arranged, hand in hand. At one point, a woman or a man (sometimes a pair) goes to the center of the circle that keeps spinning, the sound always the same song and the same song, the Jacundá, who is at the center, then tries to escape in that is prevented by other participants.
When escapes, replaced by whoever is left out. And so the dance goes on for too long, always the sound of the song repeated endlessly.
