Our latest v/a Pearls & Pixies is now sold out !!!
For the first time since we started the label
we have been working without a distribution company
and this "experiment" of doing the selling
on our own have shown us a way for the future:
to build up a more direct contact with the people who likes our sound
is a main point for us now !!!

Therefor suggestions and critics will be very important
to help us to grow even more as a 100% independent label, as well
as your concrete support in buying our future cds.

We have many plans for the future and we are working on some projects
for next summer: 2010 will be the 10th Birthday of Parvati Records,

NEW V/A - PARVATRIP - PRVCD18




This is our 18th cd and while we are soon entering into the 10th year
of life of our Label (founded in Denmark in year 2000)
we think that an auspicious day to
release this new production should be around the first days
of the new year 2010, to start in this way a year of celebrations
for our Label !!!!!

Soon we will send a bulletin again with the date of release.

Hello Giuseppe.
Slowly but surely, I think this will be the way to go for all the independent record labels.

Sell your own releases on your website !

Unfortunately, Lua Records have to take that direction this year too, after we have been let down by the only shop (distribution) selling our releases and I lost undreds of pounds PLUS all the releases deliver to that company.

I know this happen with other labels before and I dont see the things getting better. Shame !
Some people in this business have a very good moral but is just words !

I wish all the best for Parvati and your future releases.
