PostSubject: Fine-Tuning the Song   Thu 9 Sep - 5:51

What is it that makes your musical track different from the masses? It is of course, the melody and the rhythm. However, just having a catchy tune and meaningful lyrics are not enough to be on top of the public memory. The music matters. How well the music is worked upon to render that uniqueness, is essential. The music can be fine-tuned to make it sound professional with the help of mastering services. What is mastering? Mastering the musical track is the process where the source code of the recorded track is transferred to a data storage device, also called the master, from which copies are formed. Mastering is also done to make the musical track professional. The difference in the mastered track is apparent. The process performed by the mastering engineer is of high importance. The engineer listens to the whole tracks and identifies the issues in the music. Once the issues are identified, the master engineer performs corrective measures to make the track sound right. This is in the form of adding eq and compression, wherever required, without affecting the natural dynamics of the song. When the number of songs is more in an album, the master engineer listens to the whole album as a single entity. music recording mastering is a must in these times of high competition and low memory of the audience. If the music has to make an impact on the minds of the audience, it has to come across as good and technically sound.
