I've been making music on garageband for a while now and am wanting to
upgrade my software, but i dont have alot of money to work with.. i was
thinking should i buy absynth 5, and use it with Garageband, or just go
with Logic Express on its own? or any other ideas are welcome?
also my music style is electro/ house etc if that helps....

If i where you i would get a legitimate version of Logic however if you plan on buying the Express version i would first check to see what plugins that comes with.

Logic`s plugins are excellent and will do everythign you need for a while then once you have mastered them you could start to look at buying things like Absynth etc.

Check the internet for Educational versions of the full software as sometimes you can get awesome deals.
