| Hi my friends, i'm not a professional musician, but i have 15 years of contact with music, started playing guitar and continued with other instruments, like bass, banjo, violin and african drums...but now i'm on electronic music evolution i feel it every day, nowadays i dont LOVE my music, but i guess it's geting more and more interesting, so if you want to, go check my evolution at my site. thanx for everything  |

I listen 1 track and make the review of that track.
In this case, I have to choice 1 of 6 tracks you have on myspace .
I will review the first track.

Nice track, well produced.
If I have to define your sound I will say PSY TRANCE
in the same line of Crazy Ducks / Rinkadink...Funny Trance !
That is not put you in a shelf but is getting into your music style !
Happy Funny Trance in a serious sense!
The bass lines are very good:)
but the Korg its a bit out, of the other sounds listen in all the tune:(I think)
I like the sampler voices you put in.
Your bass and drums working very well.
The Equalization need a bit attention around hi-hats.
after that, in all, the Track sound great.
Next year you will be better !?
I believe , but for now its not bad at all !
I thing all the track are well constructed with a good sense of rhythms and not too cheesy.
(but that, is a personal taste thinking again:)

| Can I ask what does it mean if a psy-trance track is a bit cheeesy, Is it the sound usage, is it the structure, Is it the Placemt that is wrong?

I think is nothing wrong !
Cheesy its a way to describe a track that is full of mellow melodies.
Like... Morning Trance. 
Melodies that bring an ingenious and soft environment
though the sounds.
Nothing wrong with cheesy Trance, morning Trance , Psy Trance or Dark Trance.
Its just names to describe styles !
Its cheesy an offensive word ??
I think is very creamy !

| | I'm not ofended...i don't have 15 years of electronic music experience, and i dont have 15 years of music theory, i do play some instruments since 15 years and started with electronic music since 2 years, after that i just used the electronic music to make some drumbox, cause the only thing i know how to do is, play guitar, bandolim and Afro-malinké percussion. I'm not an electronic musician...i still dont like my music, but i will like, and so do you, i'm sure of it, cause i'll never stop. |
